Born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa, Prince Bonsu was ordained as a Reverend Minister in 1999 by Alive Chapel International Church in Accra, Ghana, following his completion of Bible School.

As you will observe, the seeds Prince Bonsu sows are multiplied exponentially in every endeavor he undertakes. While he may acknowledge the challenges he has faced, his determination remains unwavering. In 2000, he married Winifred Nana Bonsu and relocated to the United States that same year. Upon arriving in New York City, he embarked on a relentless pursuit of his goals, eventually relocating to Ohio with his wife and their first child in 2003.

In 2004, Prince Bonsu established the first branch of Charisma Word Ministries on Morse Road, where he has presided over worship services, prayer meetings, numerous revivals, educational classes, and established Kings College to train ministers in the Word of God. In 2012, he and his wife, now with three additional children, opened the Star Academy Learning Center in Westerville.

In 2014, Prince Bonsu obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Ohio Christian University and was subsequently ordained as an Apostle that same year. Additionally, he founded All Star Academy Childcare on Dublin Granville Road in Columbus in 2016. He subsequently earned his Master’s degree that same year.
